12 per priority point holder is too many -- at least at first.

I fully support the new Kyle Field, and I believe the announced pricing structure is fair.

I want to lock in my Zone arm chair seats -- I do not want to go back to bench seats.

As a 10 year season ticket holder, but with only 850 priority points, I will be among the very last to choose -- this does not seem to fairly reward my loyalty to the program.

My fear is that demand will be very high and that many will see the ability to lock in 12 seats as an investment opportunity -- they will do so with no intention of using all the seats -- just with the intent to make money on the secondary market.

A much better system would be 2 rounds of seat option selections in August. During the 1st round, the number of seat options should be limited to the number of season tickets the donor holds for the 2013 season. In round 2, open it back up to allow donors to lock in additional seats up to 12. This will make sure that people are not padding their numbers just to scalp the tickets latter.

Thank you for your consideration -- I am truly excited about the new stadium and want to do my part to make it happen, but I will be very, very disappointed if the seat allocation system forces me back to bench seats.

I know several others sending similar e-mails, if you feel the same, please consider letting the 12th Man know -- perhaps we can influence a change.

My email to the tmf:

Quote:
I don't like how you guys did this seating thing. Me lost some seats and moved. Why don't you do something bout sun in my eyes. It too hot, why you don't fix that at the games? Either do what me want or me not buy more seats. Oh, how come i not get endzone name after me?

I am fully expecting my concerns to be addressed.

So you don't agree with -- understood.

Personally, I did not feel I was whining in the manner you suggest, and obviously I felt my point was valid.

But I understand we all come from different perspectives.

I suppose if most think my concern is invalid, then that is valuable feedback also.

Thanks for you input.

Dude, I am fine with what you said. I was totally kidding around. Relax and learn to laugh. I was making fun of myself, not you.

I really need to make sure and use emoticons to ensure people can not take things so serious around here.

Very Happy Surprised Laughing d'oh!

12th man foundation will protect its bottom line... bottom line. if the numbers show an expectation that top loading the access will generate the best numbers, (and they likely do) that is what will happen. that is the choice that has been made. the foundation is under new leadership...though that basic tenet may not have changed.

It's not going to be profitable to buy and resell these off the bat. There are 20k more seats. With 7 home games, you'd have to be able to sell the average ticket at $400 or so just to break even on the annual contribution in Zone Club. Secondary market tickets just aren't that expensive even now outside of games like Bama.

Anyway, before the reseating occurs you will have had to already pay 60% of the capital contribution. So for 1 seat for the 2015 season, you will have paid $900 capital gift, $2000 in contribution, and face value of the tickets. You would also need a lot of priority points.

And most importantly, if demand for club/armchair type seating outstrips supply in August, they can add a few more rows of armchair to the West Side 3rd deck or revamp the South Endzone (which has all bench seating as of now) to add a section of club seats. They'd have 3 months to rework the plan and they will do so if there is money in it. Wouldn't worry too much about it honestly.

Laughing I will be selecting before you Mickey and I DO intend to get four of those armchair seats before you. But of course someone may get them before I do.

tmc94.

I hope your right about adding more armchairs if needed.

Yes, 20K more seats -- but all of those are high priced seats associated with a club or lounge section or they are bench seats -- as far as I can tell the number of just regular old armchair seats in the Zone are staying exactly the same.

I'm not in the zone club, my tickets are much cheaper than that -- I won't go into the economics of making money on the extra tickets -- I might convince someone to do it Wink - but it is reasonably feasible for my section.

buglerrank62 & TXAGBQ76 -- I only want 2 Very Happy

It is quite possible that I'm being overly anxious about the armchairs getting swept up before my turn, but I really dislike the bench seats -- I'll do them if that's what's left, but it will be disappointing.

Well Micky, you can have mine.
I'm going to move to the south so I can get four instead of my current two.
