It's great to see we have folks in the admin roles who have a solid grasp of how to address issues such as bottom tier salaries in a highly competitive environment. If we had what we had historically in the AD which was a lumbering reactionary strategy ( on salaries, facilities, PR, etc) this time next year it's likely we would be lamenting another botched misstep in handling this "coaching matter".
Props are due...and warranted.

Nah, it was probably the Sips, but since he turned them down DeLoss never offered.

If we lost sumlin because we failed to compensate him appropriately would be the laughing stock of the college football world. And it would likely be a while before we recovered from being so stupid. |
